EVS COMPLETES INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATED POWDER LINE AT TEXAS FACILITY

EVS Metal, a leading supplier of custom fabricated sheet metal, integration, machined parts and engineering services, today announced that it has completed the installation of a state of the art automated powder coat line in the Pflugerville, Texas facility.

The line is a 470 foot enclosed conveyor system featuring a three stage washer and a gas heated convection oven. The line includes two spray booths, one manual and the second being a Nordson Vantage RCM 8000 automatic booth with Versa-Spray II six gun reciprocating automation with an AZO sieve powder reclamation system.

The new in house system will allow EVS to lower cost, decrease lead time and provide better quality powder coated items for its customers. The line also opens up new opportunities for EVS that were previously not available without having the in-house finishing capability.
