Riverdale, NJ – February 28, 2006 -- EVS Metal, Inc., a leading supplier of custom fabricated sheet metal, integration, machined parts and engineering services, announced today that it has acquired certain assets of Preferred, Inc.
Preferred, Inc. is a precision sheet metal fabrication supplier presently located in Austin, Texas, which has been in business since 1968. The consolidation brings together two of the top sheet metal fabricators in Central Texas with combined experience of more than 50 years in metal fabrication solutions. This, along with previous acquisitions of Grentech and QuickTurn, has made EVS the largest, most well equipped sheet metal fabricator in Central Texas.
Many key Preferred personnel have been hired by EVS including engineering, quality and customer service personnel.
