EVS METAL COMPLETES BARRÉ ACQUISITION
Riverdale, NJ – December 1, 2005 -- EVS Metal, Inc., a leading supplier of custom fabricated sheet metal, integration, machined parts and engineering services, announced today that it has acquired certain assets of The Barré Company, Inc.
The Barré Company is a precision sheet metal fabrication supplier presently located in Mountainside, NJ, that has been in business since 1951. The consolidation brings together two of the top sheet metal fabricators in the Northeast with combined experience of more than 70 years in metal fabrication solutions.
Fred Barré, current President of The Barré Company, will continue on as President of The Barré Company Division of EVS Metal, and will focus on working with customers on existing and new programs and on facilitating and resolving any transition questions or issues. Most key Barré personnel will remain as part of the new division. A key addition to EVS Metal’s present capabilities will be tooling design, stamping and press work in which Barré has specialized.
